Harry Styles leave ‘The Little Mermaid’ remake

Harry Styles won’t play Prince Eric in the upcoming live action remake of The Little Mermaid!

The 25-year-old singer allegedly passed down the role in the musical, where he would have performed alongside Halle Baily, writes The Wrap, while he was officially given the part.

New accounts that Harry had formally logged on for the movie came out earlier in the day, and the internet went insane.

Harry would have entered Javier Bardem as King Triton, Awkwafina as Scuttle, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula with other reputed crew participants.

While no formal term has been disclosed from Walt Disney Studios on the remainder of the shooting, further announcements are probable to be provided at the D23 Expo next weekend, where director Rob Marshall is anticipated to talk about the fresh movie.

The current D23 Expo will be held in Anaheim, Calif, from August 23rd to August 25th.
